Jaguar X-Type Gearbox Fault Warning

The “Gearbox Fault” Warning on Jaguar X-Type Automatic

This warning is usually nothing to do with the automatic gearbox at all.

9 times out of 10 it will be an engine fault that causes this warning to appear

Usually you will find the following code or similar in the engine ECU:


P132B Turbo/Supercharger Boost Control A Peformance

Sticky Turbo Veins or Broken Actuator are the usual suspect and we have the necessary equipment in out workshop to remedy this, without needing to replace the turbo.
