Aluminium Upgraded Coolant Y-Pipes for 5.0 and 3.0 Engines.

Aluminium Coolant Y Pipes are now Available from Jaguar

Jaguars third revision of the coolant Y-Pipe now sees them finally made from Aluminium instead of Plastic.

This is a welcome upgrade for all Jaguar Owners

We recommend everyone who has the original 2 piece plastic molded design have them replaced ASAP as they are just waiting to split open and potentially ruin the engine.

People who had Version 2 of the plastic pipe, which is a single piece design should be ok as we have yet to see one of those fail in our workshop, However the introduction of the Aluminium version by Jaguar does raise concerns as the longevity of the 2nd Version.
